It was a very difficult job for me: I took four months to build it and make it work properly.
Having an Apple I has always been one of my dreams and for this reason I kept working on it every day until I completed the whole thing. I am completely ignorant in the field of electronics: I did practice with the welds that I am now able to perform quite well while before I was a mess. :-)Always because of my ignorance I broke some components during assembly (so I had to buy spare parts). In the end I was helped by the mythical Corey Cohen during the debugging phase.
Corey Cohen is not only an expert, he gave me a real friend help. I'm sorry to live about 12 hours on the plane from him. :-)
Here where I live there is a saying that says "If you want you can! "I wanted to have an Apple I and I could have it because I kept steady my commitment in building it.
I apologize for my totally scholastic English: It is the language of many here, but not mine...:-)
