This is less an Apple II specific question and more an ADTPro-related question. However, I figured this was the best place to post it.
I'm attempting to use ADTPro on my Apple IIc to receive disk images from a PC. The host PC is actually an old 286 Toshiba portable running MS-DOS 6.22, and I'm using the MS-DOS version of ADT with a homemade null modem cable. I am fairly certain that the cable was constructed properly, because I am able to issue a (D)IR command on the IIc and successfully see a list of all files on on the host PC with no trouble. However, any attempt to receive disk images or change the working directory results in the IIc showing the error message "Garbage received from host". The host PC also briefly flashes an error on the screen when this occurs, but it disappears immediately before I can read what it says.
I have already verified that both the IIc and PC are set to the same baud rate (19200), and I have even tried slowing the speed down. Admittedly the cable could be faulty, but if that were the case, I imagine the (D)IR command wouldn't function either, yet it does.
