I have am trying to install ADTPro on my Apple IIe, I think the connection is good. I can send ProDos to it via the bootstrap routine, which seems to work fine. It displays ProDos 8 v1.9 upon completion (my machine displays ProDos 8 v2.01 when it boots).
However, I when I attempt to "Send ADTPro serial client", it appears to proceed OK, I see the "Call -151" and ADTPro at the bottom of the screen in inverse text, it scrolls the text (hex?) across the screen, but when it finishes, the screen goes blank and nothing further happens.
I am concerned I might not have enough RAM, but I don't know how to determine it. I can see a couple chips on the motherboard labeled "64KX4 RAM" but don't know if that means anything. Would insufficient RAM produces the symptoms above?
My connection is via super serial card setup as shown on the ADTPro site.
I ordered the ADTPro boot disk, but if the problem is insufficient RAM, I imagine that will not help either.
Anyway, if anybody has a suggestion I would be very grateful.
