I have a couple of original II's (well one is a Taiwan clone of a II) that do not have Language cards in them.
I have tried a couple of the Saturn clone cards in them, but they do not work right... They may sometimes pass diagnostics, other times they don't. Neither works with Skyfox.
Does anyone have a couple of old spare Language cards they want to get rid of? They don't even need to be working- I can fix them.eBay auctions at nearly $100 "untested" with obviously missing chips seems a little steep.

Are you looking for the actual Language Card - the Apple one with the Autostart F8 ROM on it?
There's one on evil-bay for US$50 https://www.ebay.com/itm/267511378775
And this cannibalized one for $35 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/389528153008
Also, I see numerous plain-jane 16K cards - all of which will give you the 64K you're after for well under US$60
For your Taiwan clone, I'd go with a "clone card" to keep it all "clone". Like this strapless one (works in any slot, no need to connect it to the last RAM chip on the mainboard) that apparently works, is misrepresented as Microsoft-branded and you could probably talk the seller down in price because it's a bit rough: https://www.ebay.com/itm/287009161232
You can also get a working Bulgarian clone for $35 and free shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/317798210054
I have mostly always used vintage clone language cards. I've gotten several off eBay over the years that work fine for under $50. In particular I have several sold by the much known company from back in the day JDR Microdevices.
