I'm looking for a unidisk case, for a project, just the plastic case. I tried with a A0M1060 but the color is platinum, not white.
Thanks

... spray paint?
Thought about it, but how do I get the exact tone? Any ideas?
Thanks

You could probably scrape a small amount from the bottom and take to a paint store to have them match it.
You probably wouldn't need more than a pint.
Then, if you happen to have a small inexpensive airbrush, you could thin the paint a little and paint it.
Treta ideas. Now if i do that, what kind of paint? Interior? Water based? I may be able to get an used airbrush...
I would avoid latex paint for anything other than case touch up paint (works great for that since it can be leveled to the surface with alcohol).
When I've been spraying, two Apple II cases so far, I have been using enamel paint with self primer. I also still prime, but use a spray can for that. I took the advise of someone here and bought a real professional sprayer to hook up to my compressor and what a difference from a spray can.
A regular paint store should be able to mix up matching enamel that you can thin and shoot with an air sprayer.
remember surface prep is everything so don't skimp on cleaning and preparing the surface.
Cheers,
Corey
just make sure the case is thoroughly cleaned before painting. have sewing needles handy to clean dirt out of the sharp indentations on the surface. you might want to pop out the six-colour Apple logo before applying paint.
