Tanker Rescue Squad

Math education program for students in grades 4 through 8.
Students use a printed map, centimeter ruler, and protractor to plot the
course of an on-screen rescue ship. This is a good introduction to scale;
heading and angles; and metric measurement. Students must guide their rescue
ship around a small group of geometric islands to reach the foundering oil
tanker in time.
