Card not being recognized

I was just on my IIgs and noticed that the IIgs won't recognize the RAM disk card (it's a AST SprintDisk card). And what's the point of storing stuff, if it's only holds until you turn off the computer? Does anybody know what these cards do also:

Orange Printer interface (What printer is it for, it's NEW)
Grappler+ (What printer is it for, it's also NEW!)
Double Vision by Computer stop (What does it even do?)

But I also need help with the AST SprintDisk card....
Thanks!

Actually a RAM disk is usually good if you only have one 3.5 drive for your GS. It allows you to copy a program to the RAM Drive and then run it form there as if it were running from a physical disk. So yes when you turn the computer off it goes away.

The Orange Printer interface and the Grappler +, I think (if I remember right) both hook your computer up to a parallel printer. As to the Double Vision, I haven't got a clue. I tried Googling it and couldn't find it.

I would try unplugging and reseating the AST card to see if that fixes your problem.

Just my two cents worth,
Dean
