This PowerBook needs a new DC-in board, which is about a $40 part on eBay. I also broke two of the keycaps (both F keys - the ones over the screws).

This was my personal laptop and is in very good cosmetic shape.
The DC in port became loose, such that it became necessary to hold the plug 'just right' to get it to charge. I disassembled the machine, with the intent of re-soldering the connection, but it looks like the fault is inside the connector. Figure about $40-$60 for a new DC-in board, and possibly a bit more to replace or fix the keyboard, if the two broken keys bother you. I decided it's time for a new MacBook. The unit is currently disassembled, but every part is known working besides the DC-in board. I'll sort the screws into baggies, so you'll know where they go.
I can include a copy of the service manual.

It also has an Airport Extreme card.
I took a closer look at the broken keys. I think the one could be fixed with a dab of super glue. The other one needs the white piece that goes between the key and the membrane replaced. Or you can just push on the membrane, too.
