Powerbook 5300cs

Hi every body! Is the powerbook 5300cs worth it? Link I would like to know because I'm interested in purchasing a low end powerbook of some type. And is there any Ethernet cards for it?

What, exactly, do you want to

What, exactly, do you want to do with it? I've got a 3400c that I never use. It has full RAM and can run OS 9 and I have a WiFi card that works with it, but for what I do that is not sufficient. I want a modern browser, and pre-OS X won't do it. If you can live inside the limits of Mac OS 8 or 9, and can live with a small resolution screen, the 5300cs might work for you.

I think Jon puts it pretty pl

I think Jon puts it pretty plainly. Using OS 8 or 9 in todays world is very limiting. Good web browsers for Pre-OS X do not exist. For $49 I would never buy one. I would say its worth maybe $10. You can buy a nice OS X laptop pretty cheap now. I've seen clamshell iBooks on ebay for the same price as that 5300, and I just picked up a B&W G3 and 500MHz iMac for $20.

Where did you find those thin

Where did you find those things so cheap? Any way do you guys know where I can buy a powerbook 5300cs for a cheaper price? I want to start a vintage apple note book collection but I want to be able to use them when I go on trips. Any ideas?
