mac performa 450 schenanigans

hi, i recently found an old apple mac performa 450 in my attic, and thought it might possibly be of some use (i havent thought for what yet though)
but im a bit stumped as its passworded and i dont have a clue as to what it might be.
as my main computer is a pc, im not able to download anything that might help me.
so...
any help on this is much appreciated, and i think using it as a doorstop would be a shame

thanks
sam

At Ease

sounds like At Ease, try holding shift while booting (this may not work as it can be disabled) but if not get a Mac OS boot disk(or CD if you have a drive) and boot from that

download for Mac on PC

Hey,

This link will show you how to download Mac stuff on a PC.

http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/pc2mac.html

You need to download a boot disk. If you can boot from it, copy the system file on the bootdisk over the one on the Mac. Use a 7.5 bootdisk. SSW 7.1 requires an enabler. Do you know what's on the little guy now?

from PC to Mac

If you follow the instructions on the gamba website, it should work. I have never personally done this but then I don't have a PC. However, numerous people have attested to its working.
