i have an ibook which did not come with bluetooth as a factory installation ... is there any way i can add bluetooth to it without those dongles and stuff ?? i checked out some repair parts ... the internal bluetooh module and stuff .. can i install those ??

You can probably have a BT module installed, but if the 'Book is under warranty, an Apple dealer is probably going to have to do it. I'd take the iBook to the nearest Apple Store and see what the Geniuses say.

well its an iBook G4 800 12.1" display model ... and yeah its not under warranty no more ...
The good news is that yes, internal bluetooth is supported. As for getting the part, if you can't find it second hand, you could obtain it through an apple authorized place. The takeapart is a bit of work, so if you can do it yourself, you'll save tech fees. If you're not confident you can, get an apple tech to do it for you.
