While perusing a few threads, I found myself linked back to drbob's home page and looking at some of his pictures. I was very pleased to finally find the bunnycakes picture as I had been looking for this for a while after seeing it over in the barracks.

But then I stumbled across something that made me laugh out loud and even shed a tear (partly from laughing, partly from guilt). Either way, drbob made me cry.
Now I am left wondering how many kittens I have been responsible for the death of since breakfast this morning... and how many more by night fall.

You've never seen the the God Kills a Kitten image before?
You've obviously never been to Fark. That's where Internet cliches are born.
...no, I have not. It appears I have been a knuckle-draggin' cave dweller for the last few eons (or too busy killing kittens ).
I will have to check it out (it must be good since it is a blocked site from my work's filters).
That's what you call NSFW (or not safe for work) I hope they don't record the data trying to access a URL, and then approach People on it. My Dad's company looks at URL's thrown at the router, and then if certain flags come up (like looking at XXX) they approach the person, and might even fire them. They have also been known to block stock market trading sites, and have blocked ALL Yahoo pages. (which sucks for my dad, as that is what he uses to check on his Stocks for the companies he has invested in.
As most of us realize, it is eay to visit an innocent looking website and have pop-ups hit you for gambling or other things. These often trip the filters. Most companies recognize that this happens and do not go after folks to hard.
Now folks how try to circumvent the filters or spend too much time onthe net are the ones that usually are in danger of loosing their jobs.
Fark as a site isn't NSFW. They occasionally link to NSFW pages, but none of the content on the main page should cause a problem. They also, just as a precaution, came out with a SFW version of Fark that doesn't include the NSFW links. Fark SFW is here: http://www.fark.com/index-sfw.html. Any employer that blocks Fark needs to lighten up.
Now there's a site for kitten killers. And my god, whatever happened to website design 101? I don't even want to fathom that home page. Voluteering at your local boysclub or mosque can do wonders.
I did like the drbob pics, though. Especially the pit bull and the master of the obvious. Tom should make that whole set available for instant use on this site.
Here's the best description of Fark.com I've ever heard. (From a friend, but I don't know if it's original):
yeah where i work then dont block anything except for aim.com so u cant use the webased aim
Bah, that's what you guys get for sneaking around on my web server. If you must know, the aw directory is short for AudiWorld where I have been a member for a very very long time. I put things in that folder that I frequently use there so it won't be periodically deleted like my temp folder. Since I don't own that server, I can't turn off folder listings.
However, I do actually own TWO domokun plush toys. One I imported from Japan and another that a friend gave me a couple years back.
