Unitron keyboard alternatives

Evening friends,

A while back I obtained a United U-2200.  Based on feedback from several members in earlier posts, the actual Uniteon keyboards are very rare.  I know Apple II+ keyboards can be modified to work, but it pains me to tear apart an Apple II+ to scavenge it's keyboard.

That being said, I am looking for alternatives and would welcome any suggestions.

My thought is to take a 'claky' USB keyboard and convert it to work as the Uniteon's externally connected keyboard.    I am just beginning this quest and the following comes to mind.

from 48K to >48K

Hi all,

I'm looking for options to increase my original Apple ii plus RAM. I have a boot ROM so I'm not necessarily interested in the language card but after posting on the wanted-to-buy forum and searching ebay, I'm not seeing any 16K expansion cards.

So... what are my options here? I do see super expander cards for sale but I'm not confident they work with an Apple ii plus and they are $50 with no RAM chips.

Any other options available?

Thanks!

Anyone know the part number for the Edge Connectors (slots) for an Apple II?

The title pretty much sums it up.  I have an Apple ][ plus board with a damaged connector at Slot 6 (pretty important slot), and I'm looking for a replacement cheaper than what I'm seeing on eBay.

ATX to Apple II: need PCB help

I'm working on a board to add a -5v signal to an ATX power supply, so it can be used to power an Apple II. The design is based on SpeedyG's, but I wanted something I could just plug an ATX power supply into, rather than cutting it up. I've always wirewrapped or breadboarded, but I wanted to do a proper PCB, now that they're so easy and cheap.

Working on Franklin Ace 1000 and 1200

Both of them the keyboards aren't working...  like 99% of old Keytronics foam & foil type keyboards the little discs are all bad.  I've taken apart and removed all those...  just waiting on replacements.  Anyone know of sources for those?  I backordered a set from TexElec, but who knows how long that will take since they apparently are only making them as needed.  I'm also in Texas so theoretically once they ship they should get here quickly.  I also ordered a set off eBay but they are coming from Italy and international shipping is always slow at best and right now with all the covid m

Hiya folks,

When entering the Monitor mode, if I just hit the enter key repeatedly, it shows me this HEX data. Do you know what this data is?

Disk II Badges

Here is the SVG file for the drive badges. I am going to run them through the GlowForge this week and etch on some very thin black coated aluminum.  in theory it will create an acceptable badge though not authentic because the text will be aluminum not white. I'll post pictures when done.
