GSOS R/O ROM image for TJBoldt ProDOS Rom Drive (GSOS 6.0.1)

I have made another alternate ROM Image for TJBoldt's awesome PRODOS ROM Drive. I like these cards because they are incredibly affortable to assemble and provide a fast 1MB read only storage.

Apple II lid styles and mesh strips

My II+ needs a lid, and there are currently three for sale on ebay, all slightly different styles. I suppose it probably doesn't matter greatly, but is there a way to match the "correct" lid for my specific apple?

Very early Apple II PSU blows fuses

I'm working on a very early Apple II power supply, serial number in the 3000's.  I want to restore it to proper working order, with a minimum of fuss to keep it reasonably original and historically accurate.  Although I did have to drill out the 2 rivets that Apple decided to use to keep us safe from ourselves.  I suppose I could replace them after I'm done.

RamPak 4gs Utilities

I have a RamPal 4gs card and the utilities disk. Yup, paid for it I don't know how many years ago. I just trie dto run it on my GS, but none of the software seems to come from Irange Micro and files mentioned in the manual are not on the disk. Strange.

Does anyone know of a source for the utilities that came with the card?

Thanks.

Connecting Apple III to FloppyEmu

I was having a bit of fun with my Apple III connecting it to a FloppyEmu (and to a normal Disk II drive). My Apple III only had the single internal drive so far. It really needed an extension...

Since I wanted a convenient and safe solution for the connection, I made a simple adapter. It's basically the Apple III equivalent of the D-SUB to 20pin IDC adapter for Apple II, which BMOW sells with every FloppyEmu. Sure, Apple III with FloppyEmu is certainly a niche application, but hey, so is any retrocomputing anyway. Maybe someone else is interested after all. :)

MacEffects Apple IIe Keyboard LED issue

Hi everybody,

is it normal that the MacEffects Apple IIe keyboard has so little brightness (I don't even see it turned on).

Can anyone confirm this who also has this keyboard, or do I have a defective keyboard. (maybe they soldered the wrong resistor on the board)?

regards

Clockchip
