Apple II

Does anyone have an Apple //c motherboard?

I need to salvage an IWM chip (Integrated Woz Machine - the disk II interface all in one chip) from an Apple //c to repair a machine. I'm in Australia - can do Paypal etc.

Anyone have one a board I can salvage one from? I guess the board can be dead or alive - as long as the fault was not the disk controller Smile I just need the IWM chip.

I just wanted to know if there were any Apple II users in my area that would be interested in starting a new NorthWest Indiana (what would be the ONLY one) Apple II Users Group. NO MACINTOSH...It would include publishing a monthly newsletter, and doing it ALL for FREE!!!!
This is depending on devotion to the Apple II. Dont let the interest die in Indiana...

Apple //c Problem Reading Disks?

Hi,

I have an Apple IIc - ROM 255 with the serial port mod (oscillator fitted).

I also have an external Drive //c. My problem is that the machine will not read from the floppy drive. I've tried swapping the drives around but no difference. I even tried plugging an Apple Disk ][ drive into the external Drive //c cable, as well as directly to the //c motherboard - same issue.

Funny thing is that it does seem to work very briefly when the machine has been left for a while and is first fired up.

IIe Cassette In problems?

I'm trying to use ADTPro's audio bootstrapping to send a copy of ProDOS to my finally working IIe, since i dont have a SSC, i have to use Cassette in... but the problem is, i can't get the IIe to recognize/acknowledge the existance of the Audio transmission. I have plugged headphones into the audio out of my computer to ensure it is playing the transmission, and it is, at 75%. Is there a way to test if my Cassette In/Out Jacks are broken on the IIe, other then the ADTPro software?

IIe power supply maintenance

I had two IIe power supply's fail on me, so i went and picked up a third compelete IIe from this computer repair shop, hoping its power supply would be my saving grace, at the shop i pluged it into one of the first two IIe's motherboards hoping it would show sings of life, and the power light lit up, but it did not post, they only wanted 10 bucks so i took it off thier hands.
Now im home, and i swapped out the powersupplys and its not exaclty functioning as well as i had hoped..

Anyone have Apple IIe PSU schematic?

Hello, I recently posted the topic about my Apple IIe PSU not working, I found out what the problem was. One of the capacitors exploded. I was just wondering if anyone had the schematic so I can fix my power supply and identify the busted capacitor. If you have the schematic, please reply. Thank you.
