How to load a game?

Trying to help someone who just picked up an Apple IIplus. We had first used one back in 80 and now want to relive some of the fun. Some of the fun includes loading Hellfire Warrior again but we do not have the instruction sheet to load it and it's been so long we don't remember eventhough we played it for hours over 20 years ago. Anyone have any ideas? We're trying to remember all of our old apple II commands but we thing this disk does somethign to load on it's own.

The Bilestoad author Earthgrove Manshoe

Does anyone here remember an early, topdown view, two person, Apple ][ game called the Bilestoad? You controlled a warrior with a shield in the left hand and a dual bladed ax in the other hand.

Supposedly the game was authored by someone named Earthgrove Manshoe, which sounds like a hippy pseudoname. Anyone here know anything about the game or its author?

Telecomm Prog with Apple //c

Hi everyone,

I have numerous Apple ][ diskette's from Atari's Atarisoft labs that I would like to null-modem over to my PC through my Apple //c system.

Does anyone have a telecomm prog that could make a 5.25" diskette of for me that they could snailmail to me? I'd be very happy to pay for the disk and postage via paypal if interested, thanks in advance for the help.

My RoseBud (Apple IIgs)

I was born in 1982, and as far as I can remember we had an Apple IIgs in our house. We had two 5.25" floppies, a 3.5" floppy, an Image Writer II, and a stock "Woz" IIgs. It never had fancy RAM upgrades, or anything. We just used it. Some of my favorite things to do with the machine was to run "Dungeon Master" on it, or "The Last Ninja" or play around with "Music Studio". I learned how to spell using "Speller Bee" in fact I still clearly remember starting up Speller bee, and hearing it say: "Speller Bee, by First Byte" in that weird computerized voice that it did.

Was there ever software like this?

I'm trying to find out if there was ever a kind of drum sequencer for the IIc? Just something that you could make little beats with. I know the IIc has sound and a headphone jack which you could patch into a mixer.

need help w/Viewmax 80/Videx Videoterm cards

Hello,

I'm new to the Apple II computers and am trying to get an Apple II Plus working with either a Viewmax 80 card or a Videx Videoterm card. (I don't have any manuals for either card.)

With the Viewmax 80 installed, I still get 40 columns, no cahnge in the video. There are a couple of jumpers on the card.

Getting software transfered to 5 1/4 disks

So here's the thing. I have a IIc and want to put some software on 5 1/4 disks from the asimov ftp site. I'm borrowing a PC from a friend that's running win98 and it has a 5 1/4 drive in it. Most of the info I've found has to do with networking the IIc and another computer.

Apple II clones

Hey, folks.

I've built an Apple II clones website, and one of the things I'm trying to do is gather images of all the different clones that were made. So far, I have pictures of 137 different clones but there are still a lot of clones that I don't have pictures of.

So please check out the site, and let me know if you have any pictures of clones that are not listed. I'm also looking for Apple II clone software (disk images) and copies of User Manuals, etc.

Thanks!
Ernest
