Profile HD on Apple II?

Does anyone know if there is a controller card that would be compatible for the Apple Profile HD for a II+ or //e?

Apple /// Sightings

I was watching the Wes Andeson flick "The Royal Tenenbaums" last night and was delighted to see an actual Apple ///. It's common to see the Apple /// monitor being used with II+ or IIe- but you rarely see the ///. I think it's worth mentioning that it wasn't on for any kind of screenshot or anything. I wonder if it still worked and if anyone on the set had any appreciation for it's rareness...

How to connect Apple II Keyboard to PowerBook?

To all you Apple Knights out there,

I want to use the best keyboard ever made - my Apple II keyboard - with my new Mac PowerBook G4. The old connector (with the cool spiral cord) seems to fit in all the right places - from the old keyboard to the side of the PowerBook, but when I type nothing happens. Am I doomed forever to the cheap keyboards of today, or does someone have any creative ideas I might try?

Duodisk vs. Unidisk

I have an Apple IIe and I'm currently using two Unidisk drives which work great. For space reasons I put the monitor on top of the drives (which are sitting on top of my IIe). I've used this setup for years, but I've noticed that the weight of the monitor is tipping the drives a bit, causing half of the drive not to touch the case (they're a millimeter or two from it). I'm not sure if this will damage the drives over time or not, so I thought a Duodisk might be a better option since it was specifically made for this kind of setup.

Anyone know what the realistic flpppy disk access speed of a standard //e is?

Just going by loading times, it seems quicker than my Commodore 64 Wink

IIc monitor question

So I've been messing around with my IIc lately and usually use a TV or my 8500 with it's RCA inputs in the back for a monitor. But when I load the Apple systems utilities and what not to move some stuff around on other disks it's almost impossible to read the text...any ideas on how to save my eyes?

Ultimate Apple ][e?

Hey I've just recently purchased an Apple ][e and was wondering how can I make it the most powerful? I'm new to the classic Apples (I have an IMac) and I'm interested what you all think would be the best things to add to my new system to make it the best.

help identifying space invaders type game

I am having a hard time finding this game I remember playing on the Apple II, probably 1981/82. It was a galaga type game, where you were a ship on the bottom of the screen, which fired at groups of aliens, after the level was completed, it had a sort of hyperspace effect, where the stars in the background streamed down the screen.
