I have an Apple IIe that I was given by my uncle who worked at a school district that was throwing it away because they said it didn't work (it turned out the disk drive was bad).

Apple II GS ROM upgrade

I have an apple II gs with ROM version 00. i recently purchased the apple II gs system disk version 5.0.4. when i boot it says it only runs on ROM 01 or higher. what is this upgrade and where would i find the hardware for it? i've tried searching sites, but i don't think i know enough about it.

Apple IIc Plus and Linux

I am sure that this has been covered before but I am anxious to catch up. I have built a Linux box running Fedora 3. I would like to use my old Apple IIc+ as a smart terminal to log on to the Linux system. Is this possible? Is anyone doing this? I intend to have the Apple IIc+ as a freestanding console with a cable connection to the Linux box in my office. Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

Joystick Programming Help
