DS1216E no slot clock battery replacement

Happy New Year!

This Dallas Semiconductor smartwatch, also known as a no slot clock, took five MONTHS to arrive in Australia from China.

Apart from that, overall happy with this little chip - except that the battery is exhausted. I swear I've read somewhere that traces/legs can be cut on the board so that a new power source can be attached, does anyone know anything more about this?

Searching for information's and software

Dear community members,

I'm actually getting some Apple II(e) cards for which I'm looking to get information's (manual) and supporting software. The cards are:

Unitron U-2081 (Parallel Printer card)
Karl Blome 256KB RAM Expansion (8 RAM chips of D41256C)
Karl Blome "Steppel" card (serial card?) using a SY6522 chip

Flakey IIe Keyboard

I just got my IIe today. WooHoo.
The keyboard seems to have 2-3 flakey keys. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't and sometimes they double. Does anyone know of any reasons why I shouldn't use some switch cleaner on them before I research getting some new key switches?

bad experience on ebay for a //c

So I basically want to share a story.. i purchased a //c on ebay december 20th (9 days ago) and till this day is has not been shipped and they have my money since december 20th, paypal has opened a claim and the seller hasn't even been responding to them for the past two days. Have you guys ever had this bad luck with a2 stuff on ebay? I'll either get it very late or get a refund.

Apple ///+ motherboard with 12V memory board

Hi to All,

I have an Apple ///+ 820-0069B motherboard. I wanted to know of it is possible to use a 12V memory board with this model ?
There is not much information about the ///+. All the schematics I've found on apple3.org and other web sites seem to be related to the Apple /// 12V motherboard only.

If it is possible, what are the steps ?

Apple IIgs will no longer recognize 3.5 drives

I have an Apple IIgs that has been working just fine. But today, I find the 3.5" drives are not recognized any more. I have two 3.5" drives and one 5.25" drive. The 5.25" drive is at the end of the chain, and it is still working. I removed the 3.5" drives and tried them with my Macintosh 128k, and it recognizes each of them. The Apple IIgs also passed the diagnostic test. What can I do?
