Need help formatting and transfering images to floppy for my Apple II clone

I was wondering if I could use an apple II emulator and a 1.2MB 5-1/4" drive on a PC to format and copy software onto the disks to use on my clone?

Disk drive is now going CUCKOO

I own an Apple IIe (1984 enhanced version) along with a few cards such as ram expansion, super serial, mouse, and disk controller. The bad thing is that my drive has a few symptoms behind. First thing that shows that it does not go straight to whatever disk is in there and second, is that I open the drive cleaning the under of drive lock and do a boot again. Reads, but crashes certainly. ProDos would display the unable to run PRODOS message, and DOS 3.3 would make the certain drive grinding noise when trying to recalibrate. My dad reseated the card, blew the drive with his mouth.

Help for a RC Systems Slotbuster II Card

Good evening all,

I found a great deal on an RC Systems Slotbuster II.
The only problem is that it did not come with a manual.
By any stretch of the imagination, does anyone either have one that I can obtain a copy of, or know of a site that has the manual online?
I am willing to pay a fair price for a copy plus shipping.

Thanks in advance,

Steven (gsmcten) Smile

Does anyone know where I can download these programs? All I could find are demo versions. I thought they became freeware but maybe not.

Using Extended Keyboard II on a IIgs

I have aquired an extended keyboard II for my IIgs, and have a couple of questions. It is in great shape, and I only paid $15 for it, and it included a mouse and a long ADB cable, so it was a good deal. I have found a couple of problems, though. The enter key on the numeric keypad works intermittently. I think I might try to take it apart and clean it, any suggestions or tutorials? Another thing is that none of the leds work. It has a caps lock, num lock, and scroll lock led. None of them seem to work.

Anyone here have extensive ADTpro experience.

Well I have a couple of questions.

First do my images have to be ProDos or can it work with dos 3.3 images. I've really just started to look into this as I "stole" my b/w security monitor for another project (can we say Super Mimeo). and hooked up a 19" lcd color VGA monitor with an adapter setup. Now I want to get some old games downloaded and working (for the kids of course)

Apple IIe Numeric Keypad

I am thinkin about getting one of the external numeric keypads for my Apple //e, but am unsure where to connect it. They look to have a DB9 type connector. I don't know of that type of connector on the motherboard, so do you have to have a special card to plug it in to?

Thanks,
Jeff

New retro computing site: neoncluster.com

Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you all know that my new retro computing site, neoncluster.com, has finally gone live. It's still a bit of a work in progress, and you may come across some bad grammar, spelling mistakes, and the new look and feel still needs to be applied to some blog sections, but all in all I'm very happy with it.
