which ][ do you prefer?

Hey Folks

just curious, i own a //c non-rom 4 computer. I want to know which out of the entire ][ is most desired and why? For me, the only thing i dont like about the //c is upgradeablity (no cards) but aside from that i would like read what most users percieve as the most used and most desired ][ series to acquire. thanks.

Super Serial Card Issue w/ADTPro SpeediBoot

So, if I try to do a Speediboot from ADTPro, I do the IN#2, then the ctrl-a, and don't get a SSC> prompt. It also won't speediboot. I can load the ADTPro from a floppy, and transfer files, so it isn't a big issue, but wondering what is going on. This is on my new (to me) apple //e platinum. I've tried 2 super serial cards, in several slots, same thing. Thanks.

RamWorks III RGB DaughterBoard

Anyone on here have an image of the software disk that came with the RGB daughterboard option for the RamWorks III. I got the RGB card on ebay, and I am pretty sure it is the analog, not the one with analog and digital on the same board. I have searched, but no luck on a disk image with the software. Also, I found a manual for the digital/analog board, but not the original analog. Anyone have a scan of one? I can put these on my FTP server for all to enjoy. Thanks.

Source for Apple //c ROMs

Recently I acquired a memory upgrade for my //c (thanks Mutant Pie!) and wanted to make sure I had the latest ROM version, as it includes some bug fixes for the extended memory. The latest ROM version for the Apple //c is 4. I searched everywhere: on eBay the only vendor doesn't mention version 4, Reactive Micro sent me a message that they were reorganizing and had to recreate the images, and would take time.

Book scans

I've scanned several Apple II books recently with more to come. Is there a good place to contribute/share these? Asimov?

I'm sure some - maybe all - have already been scanned by somebody else, but I'm not sure where to look.

A //e lives on in perfect condition!

-Christmas Morning, 2012

I see my eyes on a gift in a red bag. Mom lets me
pick a special gift and a normal one between a number
count to 10. I pick a high number of my choice and
she let me open the red bag to my suprise, I see my
glory in many ways I have never seen before.
A //e in perfect condition!

Opening my gift gave me a complete set. A monitor, disk drive, including 2 disks to start with!
Moving it upstairs turning it on put the machine in a glorified beep, booting up to PRODOS. Also played Oregon Trail.

The Big Score! Mountain Expansion Chassis!

The Apple II Gods were smiling this afternoon when I went up to eBay.
I went to my usual Saved Searches and when I reached the Apple II saved search I could not believe my eyes. A Mountain 8 Slot Expansion Chassis, with the Controller Card, Cables, and THE MANUAL. Buy It Now $499.00.
I bought it. Who wouldn't? I did not know how long it had been listed, but it could not have been for very long.

The good news? When it arrives, I plan on scanning in the manual and taking lots of photographs.

Using TransWarp with RamWorks III

I recently bought a TransWarp card for my Apple //e Platinum. I have a RamWorks III card installed in the Aux slot. The recommended slot for the TransWarp is slot 3. Can I use the TransWarp in slot 3, and still have the Ramworks III card in the Aux? I have searched, and found nothing. From what I have read, if you have a card in the Aux slot, then, slot 3 should be empty. Thanks.
