Videx 80col card question..

Hey guys , I jsut picked up a close to mint condition Videx 80Col card for my II+ . Not exactly sure how it hooks up , other then it will reside in Slot #3 of the II+ . There is a small PC board that also connects to this card , and instructions state to install it in F14 spot on the motherboard? No idea where that is exactly. does one need this board to make this work , or is this some kind of enhancement for the board? Which makes me wonder because there is a POT setting on this board , I would assume that it is for adjustments in Video....

08Nov09 Sunday Morning eBay Report

Two interesting items today:

1. An Original Apple II with a lot of extras. Ebay item 250524163988.
Current price is $300.00 with four days left.

2. An Apple IIgs "Woz Limited Edition". This IIgs is "ROM 03" (this is kind of hard to beleive). I always thought the limiteds were ROM 01.
Asking Price $666.66. No; computer is not brand new.

So far the Original II seems to be the best buy I've seen in a while. There is another one listed,but has a starting price of $525.00. No bids yet.

New Apple IIe owner

Hello,
Just wanting to introduce myself here.
Played Wizardy on a friends Apple IIe back in high school and recently I got
a crazy urge to get it.
On ebay, got a Apple IIe, monitor, dual disk drive delivered to my door for $90
and Wizardry I & II for $30. What a steal.

I'd like to do some BASIC programming as well, being a TRS-80 dude back in the
day, I don't know alot about how Applesoft BASIC is loaded on this system.

Trying to figure out why the +12 wire is at 18V on an apple II clone power supply.

Anybody here ever had a problem where the +12 lead is reading higher then it should? I replaced one of the swollen capacitors to see if that helped but it didn't. All of the other output power leads are in spec(-12v,5v,-5v). Anybody have any ideas?

DipSwitch Settings Question For Super Serial Card II for use with ADT

Hey guys , I was messin around with my Super Serial Card II the other night , and I forgot to write down the Dip Switch Settings for use with ADT. Which ones ON and OFF , can someone please tell me which ones to use again.. The card resides in SLOT #2 on my //e.

I am running Virtual Apple ][ and i am looking for apple prodos 3.3 disks.....does anyone know where i can find 3.3 disk images for use in that emulator

Drive Two I/O error?

When I got to format a disk on ADT pro, any disk I put in drive 2 shows up as I/O error. It will format them still, but even a disk that has stuff on it or when the drive is empty it still says I/O error. Both drives won't format side two of any floppy either; I get a * sign What could cause this?

I need a ROM card checked for and Apple II clone.

I've been working on a project to get an old Apple II clone running again. It is called "MICRO II". I've been working with another guy that has been having me probe about every chip on the board for shorts and now that we have that taken care of, we are now down to the ROM card. He asked me if I knew anyone with a EPROM programmer and offered to look at it for me but the problem is that he is over in Australia and I'm over here in Florida.
