convert binary files for use in applewin on the pc [apple II roms]

hi.... ok , I have several apple II ROMS that I have in .dsk format , I want to use them in Applewin. there are the original roms already in the directory , apple2e.rom , apple2.rom , etc.. I want to use the ones that I have , but they are in binary format at the present time. How does one convert the binary form to a system file or like , to use in applewin? these files are original apple II roms , alot of them are non-autostart roms , so they would be very helpfull for use in applewin.

want to use pig font chip on a apple II Plus.

hey all , can someone please tell me where on the apple II Plus motherboard , is the character chip located? what I mean is the chip that is used to display all the characters , I want to burn a pig font chip and use it on my II Plus. I just don't remember where it is located. which rom that is....

msdos clone for apple2

hello,

i'm looking vor an msdos clone for apple2.
does it exist, and is there a way to expand the apple's memory,
in a way that a msdos clone will run on it... ?
if theres a way to expand the apples memory so large (a few megabytes??) , that msdos will run,
i might start a project that simulates msdos

Eprom Burner Question.

Hi all!

was wondering , does anyone know of a site that you can go to , to find working eprom burner cards for a //+ ? I have some files that I want to burn to blank eproms , most of
which are modified f-8 roms [won't say what they are , but Im sure you know what they are used for ;o)] and a working pig font rom , which was a great font chip back in the day , made the characters really kewl , especially when you were online on a bbs , % characters looked like skull and crossbones! and the other rom is a lower case rom .

Help! I just murdered my IIe

Hey gang-

(Sigh) I have to admit that I am guilty of technocide, as I apparently killed off my Apple IIe, but I'm not certain how.

I have a IIe platinum, and I was playing Choplifter when I pressed ESC to pause it to go downstairs to get a cup of tea...and when I came back the IIe was acting REALLY weird.

I heard a rumor that A2Retrosystems is preparing to release a third run of their Uther cards this September...? Can anyone confirm?

Going nuts to identify an expansion card I picked up,

I've had this card a few days now and I can't figure out what the heck it is. The blue connector seems to be a standard floppy interface and fits into a floppy drive. I haven't tried it with a powered on II, though. I remember reading a FD controller can be burned out with the wrong drive attached, so yeah, a bit nervous about it.

All googling brings up useless links. Since I know very little about Apple II hardware (or how to work it) I thought it might be best to ask around here. Electrocution isn't on my agenda. : )

Apple II+ broken - does not boot

I have an Apple II+ which broke many years ago. My father believes one of the expansion cards was not properly inserted in the slot, causing it and the computer to stop working.
