Pascal question

Back when I had my Apple /// (early 1980s), I wrote a program in UCSD Pascal that displayed a calendar on the right side of the screen and a clock on the left. This was all in graphics mode, of course.

I am trying to recreate this program on my Apple //e. It's not hard, technically, except for one thing: I don't recall how I was able to print numbers on the clock and the dates inside the grid of the calendar.

The TURTLEGRAPHICS unit doesn't seem to have any ability to write text on the screen in graphics mode.

Apple II+ cover clips

Apple II+ cover clips, the black rounded-rectangular (low resolution velcro) things that hold cover in place. Anyone know where to get some, aside from ebay. I'm not paying $19 each, and don't mind researching and waiting for a more reasonable price.

Adaptive or technology Learning programs for Apple II

Hi,
I have done some research about the programs that I used to have with my Apple IIe when I was young. I've discovered that these programs made particular use of the echo speech synthesizer For speech output on the Apple II. These were special of programs that used adaptive peripheral devices such as switches and The Powerpad. These were primarily geared toward young students with disabilities. My question is would anybody have any programs that use these adaptive devices?

Apple ][+ 80-col card video specification?

I would like to use my Apple ][+ 80-col card with a modern LCD monitor. I purchased a composite video to VGA adapter and it works with the 40-col and graphics modes, but doesn't display the 80-col video.

Epson LQ-850

I'm assuming this printer will work fine connected to almost any Apple II parallel card. Am I correct?

(bought the printer on a whim at a surplus shop, figured I should check before getting a card and cable...)

Apple II rom card switch; where can I find one?

I did a quick internet search and could not find the post I was looking for. I once read a post where a integer rom card was damaged during shipping and the switch was broken in two. The post lead to them finding a switch from some internet web sight. It’s been years and now I can not find that post, nor can I remember where they got the switch.

Apple Power Requirments

An interesting topic arouse in a different post. This leads to the question what are the power requirements of an Apple II computer? I thought this might make an interesting forum topic.

I do not know the accuracy of these numbers but they were published by Applied Engineering. All values are in milliamps and only apply to the +5V rail.

Need some help identifying Joystick? “Apple stick”

Hello, does anyone recognize this device? I’m guessing it’s some sort of I/O device but I don’t want to plug it into my II’s 16 pin I/O port in fear of possible damages.

I just purchased it off of ebay, the pictures are a copy from the listing, I can take better pictures if anyone wants me to. By the way thats a film container over the 16 pin plug.

Any help will be highly appreciated! Thank you.

Heres what it looks like:
