Applied Engineering: The Conserver for GS

I recently experienced a power surge that blew the fuse for my AE GS Conserver. I removed the fuse and found that it had absolutely no ID markings on it at all....never saw a fuse without some ID before? Does anyone know the correct fuse to use with the Conserver?

Thanks
Jim

Need this screw

I have a simple question.
I recently have purchased some components for my A2e.
The problem is I don't have the right nut and bolt to attach these to the back.

With this post, I have attached a picture of the screw that I need along with a quarter for size comparison.
Please help me identify this with name and place where I can possibly get them.

Thank you

The 1 Gig IDE Drive to CFFA 3000 Project

I'm a little awkward when it comes to doing things with electronics. Anyone who has read the Mountain Expansion Chassis posts will know that.

The main Idea here is to connect a 1 Gig IDE hard drive to the CFFA 3000 in my Apple IIe.

1. I have the CFFA Card and the drive.
2. I have a complete USB to IDE Adapter Kit.

Here is the problem:

Strange iie problem part II

This iie is driving me nuts.

Yesterday, I left the iie on for two hours, then I played that game, saved it, then loaded up the same game and all was well.

Today, when I turned on the iie for the first time, the disk drive would not turn on. I switched it off and then back on and it turned on fine.

So, I leave it on for another two hours, played that game again, saved that game, and reloaded the same game and it worked fine.

Apple IIe Problem: Z80 card + Transwarp block boot

Hi, I have a curious problem with my Apple IIe on my hands.

I just got my Transwarp and Z80 card at the same time. I installed both of them one after another on the same day that I had it.
Then I tried to run it. What happened was the Transwarp logo came out, and nothing followed. The system just stuck right there.

Unknown 80 column card

Hi,
I recently got an Apple II Europlus with an 80 column card marked "Ananas 80Z" (that's pineapple in german).
My main problem is that the onboard relay for switching the output to the 80 column screen is activated, as soon as the cards video connector has a ground connection. It has two eproms labled "DIN" and "ASC" wich is obviously the german and the us font sets, but I don't know how to switch between them. The card works when I do a "PR#3" but some graphics are scrambled, because it uses the german font set.
