Apple Plus Bell and Howell Paint Match?

Hello, I'm repairing an Apple Plus Bell and Howell. The previous owner drilled two holes in the case, and added two switches. I removed the switches, and filled them in. I just need to paint the green filler, with a good color match. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a particular black paint that is a good match for the Bell and Howell color.

ESR Measurement cheap module for amateurs at capacitors

the ESR value as criteria for capacitor selection - at ebay cheap
solution is availiable

Joystick adapter on eBay

There is an auction on eBay for an adapter that uses the ]['s ic socket type joystick input with a breakout box with 2xatari/commodore type joystick connections...

Sister Magazine

Whilst going through The Boot Legger magazine
archives, I came across an edition
that mentioned another magazine
they were publishing/or going to publish.
It was called The Hacker.

Did this get published?
Any there any copies/archives available?

"Understanding James Fielding (Jim) Sather"

Good Morning All,

I just finished reading "Understanding the Apple IIe" by James Fielding (Jim) Sather.
I finished "Understanding the Apple II" several months ago.

I did not realize when I started just how much of a difference there is between
the II/II+ and the IIe.
I now understand that the IIe is more Software Driven, than Hardware Driven.

As I read I became more interested in Jim's background and how he came to be an Apple II Guy.

Apple II+ boot issues

Hi guys!!

So I have just acquired another Apple II+ but it cannot seem to boot from a known good disk controller/drive/floppy.

I removed the RAM card and populated the missing chip and ran some memory diagnostic programs that were posted here awhile back and get back a failure at A671. Can some kind soul please translate this for me and point me in the right direction to move forward?
