No TXD signal Super Serial Card II

I recently got a Super Serial Card and installed it on apple II+. I am now trying to network II+ and MacBook with using modem MGR, but I have a problem. The text entered on the mac is displayed on II+. However, the text entered on II+ side has not been sent to macbook. So when I checked the signals on the  card and I found that the TXD signal was not detected.

Next I install the same card on another apple II+ and do the same thing, The card worked fine and communication between computers work perfect.

From these, I conclud that there is a problem with the motherboard of II+.

CFFA3000

UPDATE: Went quick. Already sold.

For anyone looking for a CFFA3000, just a heads up on one that just went up on eBay. I'm not the seller but just thought I'd spread the word as it's currently out of stock from Rich Dreher @ R&D Automation and he may or may not be producing them in the future (http://dreher.net/?s=projects/CFforAppleII&c=projects/CFforAppleII/main.php).

IIgs with many floppy drives

Advance apologies if my searching wasn’t thorough enough.

i have a IIgs with two 3.5 drives and two 5.25 drives daisy-chained to the 19-pin external drive port.

theres a CF “hard drive” in slot 7, and I’m trying to connect a Floppy Emu drive emulating a third 3.5 drive. The Floppy Emu doesn’t have a daisy chain port, so I’m looking for advice as to where and how to connect it.

Original AppleWorks floppy disks are write protected?

I have obtained a complete copy of AppleWorks with user guides and books. But I noticed that all three disks have no write protection notch so every time when I started the program, it asked me to remove the write protection tab. Is it normal that these disks came with mo notch at all? How can I use the program?

How to load games on MicroDrive/Turbo

Howdy and thanks for reading,

I have a "new" Apple iiGS with a MicroDrive/Turbo.  I also have a old backup of Adventure in dsk format.

Using CiderPress:

When I extract the dsk file to a folder, then extract the contents into a folder on the CF, I can't get the game to start.

It starts fine in AppleWin.

The same goes for Mixed Up Mother Goose.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Will

Apple II SchoolBus Card

Hello! I recently aquired a SchoolBus networking card and some promotional information about the device. From what I've learned, the card allows several Apple IIs to share disk drives and a printer to cut down on costs and manage what students can access. I don't have any of the connectors for the card, or an other instructional/informational materials.

Does anyone have any information on the SchoolBus card? I am looking for:

1) Any info/knowledge you might have about it

2) Anyone who has actually used it would be cool

E3 RAM chip in backwards after removing language card

I made a terrible mistake on my Apple II. I removed the language card and when i put the ram chip from the card into E3 I put it in backwards. Very unfortunate as i've don't this 100 times. When i turned it on, the RAM chip got hot. It was only on for maybe 5 seconds. Now when i turn it on i get the first beep, drive spins and then an error beep with address c002 listed, or sometimes 2025. I've tried removing all the other ram chips except first row, same problem. Could all of the RAM chips be bad? Any idea what other chips could be bad? I do have chips from a different computer to try.
