As a favour to people with asthma

if you are not aware, The old "life-saving" rescue inhalers have been replaced with so called "HFA" inhalers, which was supposed to be an "Environmentally Friendly" inhaler. Well, plain and simple, these do not work. On top of that, They now charge 3x as much for these inhalers, which deliver 1/2 - 1/3 the dose needed to get the airway passages open so you can breath again.

Now, I know some people may be hesitant to sign an online petition, but remember, this was how the iBook was given it's extended warranty. If you have asthma, or want to help the people who do, please sign this. I have several friends that can't go outside without the fear of having a massive asthmatic attack, and not being able to recover, due to this overhyped and underperforming, expensive medication.

Please sign this petition

If you are still hesitant to sign it, at least write your congressman. This needs to be stopped now before people start to die.

There are techniques available to eliminate so-called "allergies."

While I do find value in some

While I do find value in some of the techniques promoted by that site (for different reasons) they don't seem to be making a case against allergies, but rather promoting the idea that other major illnesses are caused by allergies.

I signed...

I've already had a conversation about the issue with my State Rep and Senator, and am in the middle of a scheduling issue with my US rep so that we can sit down and talk about it.

I have asthma. My signature line is not just a great song line, but the way I actually live. I've used a rescue inhaler for about 30 years now, and for them to change it simply because some hippy thinks that it contributes to the hole in the ozone layer or human-assisted global warming or some other form of eco-political BS is infuriating. They are basically taxing us for having a disease.

The subject that I will be addressing with my US Rep is a possible Americans with Disabilites Act infringement by the FDA. Mention that to your representatives as well. The more people we have with the same words in their head, the better a chance we have to make a change.

Sincerely,

Reverend Darkness

I suspect that's the spin, and the real reason this is taking place is drug company profiteering.

Find a way of doing things cheaper yet charge more for it, and tell the masses it's for their own good by wrapping it in current fears and buzzwords. Brilliant. Pure evil, but brilliant.
