ok so I probably should have said a2s2 00991 in the title...lol
Odd machine. This is the lowest a2s2 (plus) I have come across. Has a raised power key kb. The serial number would seem to indicate approx. 2nd or 3d week of production of the Apple II plus.
Unusual. Didn't have a power supply, so I can't play...yet.
Interesting...
Nice, register it on my registry!
I did...yesterday. thanks
I don't see it...
I figured it out. If you complete the form without putting the prefix to the serial number (ie a2s2) it just goes back to the main page,, but does not register. I did it 3 times before getting it right.
I will check on that and put in an error message. Thanks- I got it now.
Interesting indeed. My Apple II plus has a 5-digit bottom-plate serial number, yet its black sharpie motherboard date is 7905. If you have the book The New Apple II User's Guide, you can take a look.
Oh, I see it's this guy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Apple-II-iiplus-computer-A2S2-Low-serial-number-small-label-00991-/262777896160
