Hi! I like the C64. It has some good games. In fact, I have a lot of good screenshots of them at c65 additions - Manage /c64_game_pics at SourceForge.net. They are mainly in the form of Windows wallpaper, screenshots as .bmp files and Win98 startup screens. Now, I'm asking if there are any good Apple2 games with graphics good enough to do this, and, if there are, their names and how to get a screenshot from the AppleWin emulator. Thank you.
Some of the best games are in the Total Replay and Instant Replay collections. If you let them run in demo mode, you can get some amazing screenshots. Just download the 32 MB images and attach them as disks in AppleWin by checking "Enable hard disk controller in slot 7" under Disk of the AppleWin Configuration window. Then to take a screenshot of AppleWin just hit <Alt><PrtSc> like any other window.

Actually you can just run Total Replay in your browser from the first link and take screenshots. Once you see the title screen, if you hit Esc it will go into demo mode right away or use the arrow keys to navigate thought the games and hit Space for run the game's demo or Enter to play it.
Thank you. :) As I said, I have the AppleWin emulator. When it starts up, it displays a message box saying the the PrtSc key could not be captured. :( I believe it's because I have Greenshot installed. I can disable it. How does the emulator trap the PrtSc key?
Don't run it in full screen mode, use windowed:

I can use my Win7/64 laptop at my day program for the screenshots; it doesn't have Greenshot installed. How does the PrtSc key work in AppleWin?
In Windows <Alt><PrtSc> takes a screenshot of the current active window and puts it in the clipboard. It has nothing to do with AppleWin.
Oh. I thought that, since it said that it can't trap the key, it adds functionality to the key. I have Greenshot but haven't used it for a while. Maybe I can find it a d install it on my Win7/64 laptop. Thank you. :)
