Is there any way to connect a cassette player to a IIc or IIgs? I have a couple of Apple II cassettes that I'd like to be able to use with my IIgs (prefereably) or IIc. Is there a cassette interface card that would work on the IIgs? I've looked around and haven't seen anything but maybe I'm just missing it. I'd appreciate any help!

Which tapes are they?
Maybe they have already been converted to floppy disk images and available online.
Here is a good ressource for Apple I & II Cassettes :
Antoine's collection of Apple cassettes
Audio Wav files are encoded at 22 kHz 8-bit mono with Audacity and CiderPress software.
In CiderPress SoftWare documentation, Disk Image Creation and Conversion - Additional Tools section, there is a feature related to :
" Cassette Import - Capture your Apple II cassette tape in a WAV file, then use CiderPress to extract every program it contains. Automatically identifies file type and length for most programs. It can even decode some tapes that no longer work on a real Apple II ".

I did not know that CiderPress can interpret and extract files from audio casettes. Good resource!
I'm sure they are available online, but I just like to be able to use the original. Something nostalgic about it :-). I have an Apple II Plus as well I just don't normally have it connected and running and was hoping to use the GS or IIc directly.
I'm sure someone could make a similar interface, but it would require custom software as well. The cassette hardware I/O locations and Monitor routines were recycled for other use in later II's.
