Hey all!
I'm trying to obtain authentic Apple II sounds (simple clicks, beeps, etc) in wav file format to use for a film project. I have done some searching already but have really only found the apple ii startup chime. Main goal would be to obtain 5 (or 10 if there were 10) of the top common sounds (in wav) from an Apple II. If anyone knows where I could find these, or if it is easy to extract and send to me, I would greatly appreciate the help!

The Apple II (non- GS) only makes one sound in ROM. The startup beep. All other sounds are created in software by rapid-fire "clicking" of the speaker circuit (which can only make single-pulse, one-bit clicks)
Application programs and games make sounds of their own.
The easiest way to go about capturing these, honestly in this day and age, is with your smartphone, preferrably with a microphone connected to it.
In Windows the easiest way is to play the sounds with AppleWin and record them directly with Audacity by setting the recording device not to the microphone, but the sound card.
I'm not sure if it fits the objectives, but the sound of a booting disk II floppy is something instantly recognizable. One product that makes this sound is the Virtual II emulator.
Hi Mike,
I've the attached if it's helps.
