How much is an Apple II plus worth?

Hello,
I may have found an amazing deal on my local craigslist.
I have a bunch of older apple stuff, imac g4, powermac g4 cube, apple adjustable keyboard.
I found an Apple II plus with joystick, monitor, manual, looks like 2 floppy drives. Is it worth 125$?
Here is the listing:

It depends on the condition of the machine and monitor, but unless nothing works $125 is not a bad price. How far a drive is it? Without knowing if it works I wouldn't drive hours to get it but for a buck twenty five I'd ride a half hour and snag it. No telling what if anything is inside as well.

Is your goal to re-sell it or to keep it? If you are looking for something to keep it is worth what you are willing to pay.
It's got a floppy drive, the necessary cables, some disks, a monitor. If everything works you're stylin'. If not, come back here and everyone will gladly help to try and get it working!

Personally I would contact the seller and ask for some more pictures and if it works. Ask them to plug the computer in and turn it on. Does it beep? Does the keyboard power light come on? (the spot to left of spacebar that is missing the cover/keycap)

Ask them to plug monitor in and turn it on. Does the power light come on? I'm assuming the seller does not know about the computer. If they did, and it worked, I would think they would have posted pictures or info stating as much.

Since they may not know how to hook everything up (or may simply not be interested) requesting at least a basic power up will give you some information even though it won't tell you the complete story.

I'm perhaps not the best judge but I would go for it unless it was a long ride. Long ride, my time, $125 and the uncertainty of working condition would make me hesitate if the seller is not responsive to requests

It is around 30 min away.

I really dont know if i want to resell or keep.
I might keep it alittle, re sell later.

I contacted seller yesterday, no reponce yet. Ill just have to wait.
Seems like they dont really know anything about it.

WHen people dont know about it you can get better deals tho.
I got my apple adjustable keyboard on craigslist completly free, when it can be sold on ebay for around 100$

As I said, totally up to you but to ride a half hour and snag what is potentially a nice machine for a not unreasonable price would be worth it to me.

I asked about reselling only because you'd need to figure in your time and expense in retrieving it to justify the cost.
I often pick apart stuff I get and keep what I want, sell the rest to pay for my habit. I also have found I don't like keeping too many things for any length of time.

Certain stuff I hold onto. Others I clean, fix, play with until I see something else (same model machine but with different options, modifications, etc.)
that catches my eye and in comes a new one, out goes the old one. As long as I keep one of, whatever it is, around I'm happy. Something out of the ordinary? That one stays with me.

Good luck with it, feel free to let us know how you make out and if you have any questions/problems once you go to fire it up.
