Random part from an Apple II

This was plugged in to, and dangling out of an Apple IIe I got recently, the computer works without it, and as you can see it has a 4 pin plug on the wires and two RCA female plugs on the box.

There are only a few things silk screened on the PCB: "Biwave Out" & "1003-0030 Rev. O". I'm not fluent in Apple IIe components, but this looked interesting, but didn't do anything to the operation of the computer over all. It plugs in near the composite out in the right back corner of the mainboard.picture here

Yarrgh! The link showed the entire directory, my apologies link fixed here

That, my friend is an apple ii compatible RF modulator.
It is commonly used to connect the apple ii to a tv set for use as a monitor.

Mine must be malfuctioning then, as I hooked it up with two different RF boxes to the television, I also used the the same RF switches for other devices that worked.

I'll have to fiddle with it some more, maybe I'm just not using it quite right.

input composite, output RF

It may not be for Channel 3, it could be for UHF channel 33 or 34

Use your TV's setup option to scan all channels. Those channels being the non digital ones.

On my 1976 Sony TV the "scan channel" button is called my 13 year old. "Hey turn that knob, one more time..."

The picture I saw shows some adjustment pieces inside that if moved, will not show up on any channel unfortunately.
