Anything I have I will sell for $1 each if you pay for shipping. I cannot bring myself to trash them. I have lots of 5.25 disks and 3 inch software, original and pirated. I have  3 floppy drives that need calibration. One is dmaged. I even have a bare bones chasis with the motherboard and zipchip. I might have Ram Works bord too. Seriously, only 1 dollar plus shipping, and any profit I get will be donated to a no-kill animal shelter in South Jersey.

Help creating Disk II floppys

Have been given an Apple ][ europlus for christmas with a Disk II drive and a BMOW Floppy Emu. The Floppy Emu is working fine but not owning any Apple Disk II floppys I'm unable to test the drive.

 

I have been using https://asciiexpress.net/diskserver/ to create images on the Emu but it fails to create disks using the Disk II drive.

I have some used double density disks, my question is can I use them and what software should I use to format them? Or what can else can I use to test the drive?

Disk II won't write

I am sure this has been answered somewhere, but a preliminary search didn't turn up anything definitive.

 

I have a situation where I cannot write disks.  Disk reads are just fine.

 

For example, it goes through the motions to format (DOS 3.3 INIT HELLO) but nothing is written.

 

I have narrowed it down to the disk controller card.  Switching that out has solved the problem but what about the Disk II controller might be bad?

Issues Getting Apple IIGS Online with Uthernet II

BBS:I've tried using programs like Megaterm 1.1 and ColorTerm 3.5, but I've had no luck as they don't seem to support the Uthernet II. I tried using Spectrum, but it didn't show in color like I thought it would, and when I typed a character on my Apple Extended Keyboard II, it would type the character twice.

Hi!  I really don't like the Apple2 all that much but want to play some Apple2 games.  In AppleWin, which key emulates the fire button under keyboard (cursor keys) emulation mode?

Apple II VidHD > HDMI to DVI not working

Hey, I have owned a VidHD and used it in my Apple IIe and IIgs for a couple of years now, with a Samsung HDMI TV.

In preparation for expanding to a new retro space, I bought several Dell 2007fpb monitors as they support VGA, DVI and SVHS

I understand that HDMI and DVI are signal compatible, and that a simple HDMI to DVI adapter, or cable should get the HDMI from my VidHD to my DVI of my Dell screen.

Problem is, it does not work.
