IIGS monitors?

Hi Everyone.

I wanted to ask what is the largest monitor that was made for the IIGS system? I had a monitor that I got on eBay but it didn't work right so I put it in storage. The monitor looked like the tyical small monitor that you see with most IIGS systems. What I wanted to ask is if there were bigger monitors made that worked with the IIGS' RGB monitor cable?

I'm looking to purchase another monitor for my IIGS because usiing a TV just doesn't cut it. Please elt me know so I will know what type of monitor to look for on the net.

Thanks
John

Best Apple II site for software and such

I remember many years ago (2001-2002) I stumbled upon a site that had lots of Apple software available for download. I believe it was called Asimov and was an ftp site. I don't recall if it was all public domain, or a mix of comercial and PD software.

Using a IIgs and a FD HD drive to convert A2e images?

Hey all.

I have yet another question. I just dug my IIgs out of the closet. I never used it because the monitor didn't work. I've asked in other posts earlier what the easiest method to take A2E images and convert them back to disk. Would a IIgs with a 3.5" FD HD unit be able to do the trick?

I'm guessing that I could hook up my 5.25" drive to the pass through on the FD HD and then somehow on the IIgs convert the images from the FD HD to the 5.25" floppy disk. I thought I remember reading that the FD HD 3.5" disk on a IIgs could read PC formatted disks.

Trying to get rid of old Apple stuff

Hey guys I just joined this forum because I'm looking to get rid of a bunch of old Apple II software and I would rather get it to a good home than just throw it in the garbage.

Basically, I have a ton of stuff. My parents bought an Apple IIe back in about '83, and I still have it and all the software and documentation. Much of the software is old school pirated stuff, but also includes some stuff that was bought. I have WordPerfect in the box with the manuals, which is includes 6 5 1/4 floppies but also one 3.5 inch floppy (can anyone here use 3.5 inch floppies on a IIe?).

Converting Apple II images to disk with Catweasel MKIV

Is there any software that would allow me to use a catweasel controller to convert A2 emulation images back to original floppy for use on my real IIe?

I'm debating whether I should get one of these catweasel cards as I could use it to convert C64, Vic-20, Amiga, Atari ST, and other system images back to real floppies, but I want to make sure that there is software that can allow me to convert the image to A2 disk. Let me know if any of you might have some info on this.

Thanks
John

Any Apple /// users here ?

Are there any Apple /// users here ?

I'm looking for any application/utility/misc software. I already have what's publicly available from Asimov and a few other places - which is not much at all.

Any help appreciated.

Softdisk Collection?

Hi all!

I have a question on Softdisk. Does anyone have the complete collection in image format or on CD? I have a CD from the owners of Loadstar which was the Commodore 64 equivalent. Actually, I beleive Loadstar spun off from Softdisk. Anyhow, I'd like to find the complete collection of Softdisk images if possible. Please let me know.

Thanks
