Questions about RamFactor Part II

Hi everyone. After a few days, I’m back again to talk about the Applied Engineering RamFactor. I’m still looking for the piggyback module to expand it to 4MB of RAM, but today’s issue is a different one.

ImageWriter II smudge

Hello all,

I fired up my ImageWriter II with a new color ribbon cartridge (from MacEffects). While the printing looks good, it also has some smudges.

What can I do to minimize or eliminate that? Is thre anything to clean or adjust?

Thanks

Armando

Apple II 128K card - questions

Hi all,

I came by a load of cards for the Apple ii. I'm just working my way through them all and currently on this 128K clone.

Compared to another card online, there appears to be some components missing in the middle of the board, below the 6 resistors. I was wondering if these have been removed or were never there?

Laser 128EX Odd Display Issues

I recently acquired a Laser 128EX, and populated the memory card to 1MB. I tested out Henry Lowe's Card Cat and RAMWerks programs, and I'm seeing some odd display issues that I'm trying to figure out if my Laser is having issues, or it's some odd bug in the program that affects Lasers. So if any Laser owners would be willing to check out these programs, I'd appreciate it.

Problems with Apple II europlus encoderboard from Sweden

Hi, I live in Sweden and recently bought an Apple Ii europlus. MB rev 7, date 8104. Some minor problem with the PSU and ROM chip but that is fixed. The keyboard will not work. The keyboard is Apple 605-4155-0. The encoderboard is made by a swedish compamy WEAB ( Wermlands Elektronik AB) that made kb accessories for Apple II. This company closed in 1984.

Leadman Clone PSU Schematic

Hi all,

Does anyone have the schematic or a photo of the caps in a Leadman Apple II clone PSU? I'm replacing caps that someone else has removed and there's no silkscreen to indicate polarity. Just smelly-popped and 1000uF as I put it in the wrong way.

Photo of the PSU attached with new caps but wrong polarities!
