WTB : Pre Rev 7 motherboard

I'm chasing a pre rev7 motherboard to purchase (eg rev 4) for ROMX testing. If anyone has anything please let me know. I want a board I can use to test 2513 replacements post assembly. I dont need any ROMS - not even the 2513 - so that might save me some $$. Also will take boards that are not working so long as they are physically intact and can be repaired.

Hires graphics problem

Text is fine. When you enter hires mode, all you get is random text on the screen. I've swapped out all of the chips with a working apple, but it is still the same. I've attached some pics. (note: the distortion you see in the pictures is just reflections. I think it was the only sunny day we've had in 3 weeks). You can see once I type hgr, the random text shows up.

I'm not sure what the apple uses to switch it to hires mode.

Apple IIgs ROM 01 does not start anymore - need help

Apple II plus colour problem in text mode

I’m getting back into the apple II game after 30 years away from it. I purchased a clone and a real apple about a year ago. The clone works fine. The real apple has an issue in text mode on a colour monitor (Commodore). In HGR mode, the text is crisp with the normal colour fringing, but in text mode, the colour is so overdriven that you can’t read the text. I disconnected the 4.7K resistor to Q6 (colour killer transistor) and the text is the same in text mode or HGR (which it should be).

9-inch Color CRT display that supports 80-col text

Does anyone know/have a 9-inch CRT monitor that supports Apple II color graphics and 80-column text? I have a 9-inch color monitor, but it does not support 80-col text. I also have a Color Monitor IIe that works great - color graphics and 80-col text, but it is a 12 or 13 inch display. I like the old-school look of having the monitor and 2 Disk II drives on top of the Apple II case and need 80-col support. I know I could use an LCD screen, but it does not provide the old-school system look.

Need help fixing stepper motor issue with Disk II floppy drive

Hi All, I have a Disk II floppy drive that was purchased a while back and was NOS at the time but of course arrived DOA so i started troubleshooting it a whlie back. I have a working disk II here i use as a test machine to move parts/boards, etc..

What it's doing is.  on turning on the machine the stepper flapps a bit, and the primary motor spins the disk but the stepper motor never engages and starts moving forward/reverse to any tracks on the disk. 

What i have done so far.... 

1. moved the logic chips from working system to non working. no change.

new Apple II GUI for PRODOS plus Apps

Dear Apple ][ Guys,

I have developed from scratch a new graphics GUI for prodos without need of mouse,  and 5 apps developed completly buy me. It's a working and tested prototype by myself for days. It's a 5.25" Floppy and should works, by my test completed with Applewin and a real Apple //c on a Apple ][+, //e,//e enheanced and obviusly //c.

Unknown Apple ROM’s

Hello everyone from Ireland and Happy New Year.

I need some help to identify few ROM's witch I got from Nederland end of last year in bulk some I was able to identify my self but I have good few witch I just can't find anything about.

1. 341-0204 REV.A (c) Apple 82

2.077-0027 (c) Apple 

3.FDC4 ProDos

4.Erphi control 

5.Mouse II special 

6.Fast Boot

7.Fast Noxy 6.3 Or may be Noxx 6.3 not sure

Apple 5.25 Disk controller card

Hi, I have two of these cards that don't work well. When I place one of them in the Apple IIe I get only vertical blocks at the screen and the keyboard doesn' t respond. With the other the Apple IIe starts up but the duo drive does nothing.  The duo drive is ok because with another Apple IIe it is working well. My question: where can I find the documentation (schematics etc) of this controller card (655-0101) or can someone help me with a servicemanual or schematic?
