Apple II+ HDMI converter - what works?

I have been struggling with what i thought was a colour killer issue as my text is always blue when using one of those amazon AV2HDMI adapters.  I finally lugged the apple up to an old LCD flatscreen and it works fine, but not very pratical for working on the desk.  with the adapter to a monitor i have to fiddle with the cable for a while before i get a clear picture (usually get almost jailbars over the image.  Color does not work at all, blue text/graphics on black or blue background..

Anything on the market that is known to work?  RFI Motherboard..

SELTRON DD40 External 5.25" Floppy Disk Drive - Anyone familiar?

I recently acquired a SELTRON DD40 External 5.25" Floppy Disk Drive, supposedly for Apple II series machines, however there seems to be a dearth of information around this item when I search for it.

I was wondering if anybody is familiar with these drives and has any information about them?

TIA

ROM 3 GS won't save Control panel settings, but keeps Time

New 3.6 VDC Lithium battery, + side towards the back of the machine, keeps time perfectly, but won't save Baud rate or Mouse tracking speed.

I'm pressing Return after changes to save them. Same for CDA's.  Nothing in the owner's manual about this.

Apple A9M0107 5.25" Disk Repair

I received an A9M0107 5.25" (1986 Unidisk) floppy drive with a IIgs I bought recently. When attached to the computer, the LED flashes briefly a few times at power-up, but otherwise it shows no signs of life. There's no motor movement, and GS/OS doesn't show it in the Finder. I know the Smartport interface is fine, because I'm able to read/write disks using a different drive.

Apple //e no power when Disk ][ drives are attached

Hello friends! I figure it's about time I created an account on this site given how long I've used Apple computers.

I just took my non-enhanced Apple //e out of storage yesterday and spent several hours using it successfully. Today it would not power on (no beep, no LEDs). I isolated the problem to the Disk ][ drives: when both are disconnected from the Disk ][ controller card, the computer starts normally.

Any interest in a new Apple /// memory board?

I have PCBs and connectors arriving tomorrow for a prototype of a new Apple /// memory board, using modern components (e.g., CMOS SRAM). The initial version is a 256 KiB board, as proof of concept. Is this something anyone might want?

Compared to the Apple "5V" memory board, this uses much less power, so it doesn't need the power resistor from +12V to +5V that was present on the Apple board, and it puts less load on the power supply and generates less heat.

CA3146E Chip - Disk II

Well i seem to of  found the issue with writing to disks with my DISK II drive.  The Transistor in the CA3146E chip that drives the Q2 right/Write  Transistor is shot.  all the others on the chip test ok, but pin 8 is dead..

Seems like this is now a discontinued part.  I have 3 Ebay  ones coming from China, with an ETA of Oct/Nov.  Anyone have a better source?  Digikey/newark/etc all fail to find it..  I am not interested in paying as much shipping as the cost of a DISK II drive to get it here (Canada)..

Thanks

T3 Transformer Specifications in Astec Apple IIe Power Supply

I have had an Apple IIe for several years now that I power up and play around with from time to time, but not on a regular basis.  I went to power it on one day recently and found it be completely dead.  I decide to open it up and check for power coming out of the main harness from the power supply, but get nothing on either the 12v and 5v rails.
