Apple II

Last month I decided to just go ahead and purchase a factory sealed Microsoft Softcard II System version 2.28B off of ebay at full asking price (approxiamtely $400 after tax and shipping). So now I have it in my den still sealed. I'm somewhat torn between opening it, or leaving it sealed. Nowadays, very few people collect anything that my generation deems as having value. So I'm leaning towards opening it, installing it, and using it like I did back in the early 1980's in my computer classes. Yet, it looks so cool being sealed.

Hello Everyone, I've been looking everywhere for an AppleCat ][ 212 upgrade manual.  Specifically looking for the cable connections and power connector pinout.  Asimov does not have one, the only reference I have found is at yesterbits.com, and the link is dead.  Any help would be appreciated. ;-)

I grew up with a IIGS and finally was able to get one again and everything is near perfect but I can't get a Joystick to work. 

Got the A2io that I have tried both a 8bitdo and a PS4 Dual Shock. I can load into MECC Computer Inspector and it shows both joysticks acting perfect but the second I load into an actual game it pulls like crazy immediately to the bottom right corner of the screen. I've tried multiple games.

I also tested an actual Kraft KC 3 that pulls in any game I try also.

Is there something I am missing to use a joystick in an actual game?
