Apple II

I can't get a hold of reactivemicro.com

Its worrying me. Mostly because I really need the custom Rom I ordered .I cant figure out how I'm supposed to send them the bin, and they dont answer emails sent over the past 2 business (4 calendar) days.

They on vacation or are they known to be slow?

Is a 3600-PRO / 9600-PRO replacement needed? (as a product that is)

So I've largely completed my PS2-//e interface and since the 3600PRO uses odd voltages for the keyboard scan I decided to replace it.

I did this by removing the 3600PRO and connecting my microcontroller to the IC socket as well as making a few other connections to the keyboard connector.  The code works fine, and I am able to type and reset and use the "Apple keys" with no issue, but this got me thinking.

The Lower Planes BBS

Up and flying for the first time in 20years, The Lower Planes is back in business.  It actually runs on x86 hardware, I didn't want to waste my GS by using it for a BBS.  But ever loving support for II's and the GS.

6551 board schematic - capacitors not on schematic?

Hey folks.  :D  I am getting ready to (try to) assemble a 6551 board to interface to the Rpi, since I have no super serial card and the A2pi board is out of stock.

So, on the schematic for the A2pi here: http://schmenk.is-a-geek.com/wordpress/?p=88

Recommend me a Composite-to-HDMI converter?

Hello, everyone.  Quick-ish introduction: I'm Lee.  Pleasure to meet you all.

In going through my dad's estate, I recently unearthed the Apple ][e from my childhood, which he bought new in 1983 and we learned to program on together.  I figured he'd thrown it away long ago, but there it was in the back of a closet.

Help Recognizing early Apple II PSU

Hi,

I have this Power supply but don't know if is original or a Clone. Outside stands it's 115V/ 60Hz, but inside has a RFI filter 230V/ 50-60Hz

It's an A2M001 and 820-0003-01 is written on the PCB.

Thanks.

Engineering notebook for Apple IIGS

I was tossing old stuff and came across my old engineering notebook from 5/89 to 3/90 when I quit Apple. So it's things I was working on after the IIGS shipped. Basically what an extension of Taskmaster would be, or bring the concept of Taskmaster to the Mac. There's some stuff from after being at Apple.

Before I toss it I wanted to know if anyone collected such stuff and wanted it.

Bigger monitor for IIgs

I was wondering, what's the most popular option for a bigger RGB monitor for the IIgs? I have the original one, but it's just a tad too small... I'm thinking of using a Commodore 1084S, but I'm not sure if the picture quality compares...

Apple II Terminal Emulation on a Mac

I've got the ZOC Terminal program really dialed in for my MacBook so it feels like an Apple II.  It's a fun and easy way to get on the Apple II BBS's.
