A remix of PTB (Dave)'s amazing Floppy EMU case

Howdy friends:

A few years ago fellow Fritter Friend Dave, aka @PTB created an amazing Floppy EMU case from an original Apple Floppy II case.  At the time I did nto have the funds available for a kit.  Recently I learned Dave no longer had kits but shared all the various files he used to create the case (see link above).

Apple IIc power supply issue

I got an Apple IIc but it didn't boot. Both the drive led and power led blink when the computer turns on. There is no video output and no activity on the disk drive. It seemed to be a power supply issue, so I measured the VCC of a couple of 74LS374 and found that the voltage is close to zero and flutuating. I then checked the internal power converter and found that its D7 diode is bad: the resistence between its two pins is small in both ways.

SPIISD problem with french Apple IIc

Hello,

I built an SPIISD device (version 1 without a display, the model with an IDC20 cable, Arduino Nano) for my Apple IIc (ROM 4X with a French keyboard).

I flashed the software onto the Nano using a Pololu AVR programmer. When I start the Apple, I get the message "No bootable device."

The software on the Nano starts properly, Welcome messages are visible in the log.

The connections between the DB19 connector (original) and the Nano are fine, as are those between the Nano and the SD card reader. I checked all the connections.
