Apple II Power Supply Breakdown

Hi everyone,
I remember reading somewhere, and I'm sure it was on this forum, a breakdown of the Apple II power supply that spread over a few days, and was very detailed.
I can't seem to find it. I'm probably just looking in the wrong place.
Thanks
Martin

What 5.25in disks for an Apple ii Europlus?

Hi

Please forgive what might be a stupid question, but I finally managed to resurrect my machine and need to purchase some extra floppy disks for it (it uses the original Apple drive that came with the machine). Is it OK to try HD disks in these machines, I have read warnings that these can cause issues in old drives, so should I only look for DSDD disks? After all the time to get it going, I don't want to make a bad choice on disks.

Thanks for any guidance.

Karel the Robot disk image?

In high school during the mid 80s, I used Richard Pattis' Pascal primer 'Karel the Robot,' and although I've never programmed in Pascal, the lessons learned have stuck with me since. Several months ago I picked up a copy of Pattis' companion book and found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable read!

DOS 3.3 utility to free up track 2 sectors?

Does anyone know of a utility on Asimov for DOS 3.3 that can edit the volume bitmap, to free up unused sectors in track 2?

DOS 3.3 does not fully occupy the first three tracks (0,1,2) and only uses about 8 of the sectors in track 2, though by default the volume bitmap marks the entire track as in use.

It is possible to mark those extra sectors as available for program storage, though it's very hard to do by hand with a sector editor.
