A2PI/GSport/FUSE

Hello,

I have recently started playing around with the RPI connected to the A2Pi card, with the installed Rasapple II software (great hardware/Software combination).

Being a new user to Linux and its commands I have some questions:

1. From reading and seeing on youtube, i can mount my physical drives from the A2 (cffa3000 (slot2), Scsi HD (slot7), by installing FUSE and using A2MOUNT. Is this preinstalled on A2PI? If not, how do i install FUSE (steps would be appreciated)?

What do you make of this motherboard...

Based on the registry project (Link: here ), doesn't that indicate that this board is not a II+ but a II, and not that low a serial?

Apple IIgs power supply on the fritz MWP-303

Ok, people , looks like ive got a power supply issue on the 2gs

I noticed it was having difficulty turning on. You can hear tht fast audible chirping from the power supply. Thinking it was the PS, I pulled the memory card.

With the memory card pulled the computer will turn on. However it ticks several times as the voltage ramps up then it turns on.

Yet another disk emulator

Anyone here familiar with this?

Is it:

A) Better than sliced bread and bottled beer?

Dirol Okay?

C) Not much better than a kick in the nuts?

ADTpro with superserial DIP switch question

The configuration for serial as shown on the ADTPRO website shows

SW1: 1001111 SW2: 1101100

With regard to SW2 numbers 3 and 4 (as read from left to right), they are shown to be configured as 01

Table 2-4 of the SSC manual shows

11 - no parity
10 - odd parity
00 - even parity

so what is 01?

Formatting HD 3.5" Floppies on Apple //e's & //c+'s, Every Time

I made a new thread for this topic as a similar one veered off. I just wanted to share that it IS possible to use HD 3.5" floppy disks with standard Apple II hardware, using the 800k disk drives. I do this on Apple //e's and Apple //c+'s all the time and I really never have a problem.

Apple /// memory problem

Anybody here know anything about throubleshooting the bank-switched memory on an Apple ///?

This machine was working perfectly until I tried upgrading the keyboard to a /// Plus keyboard-- this requires replacing the encoder ROM as well as the keyboard.

Simple enough, but the computer would not boot SOS afterwards. It displays the screen and then crashes. Memory diagnostic tests pass "bank 0" and then die.
