Mystery card - 6502, 6522, ram, 1MHz clock

Can anyone identify this card?

http://imgur.com/DbbDcho

There is no writing on it, and it has a physical switch (a-b) near a 65c02. It seems like some sort of coprocessor board, but I can't seem to track it down.

Thanks for any guesses!

Apple II drive in an Apple III?

My last apple iii drive seems to have died. It might be repairable, but in the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to use an Apple II drive with an adapter. I have plenty of those.

It is really frustrating design not to be able to boot the hard disk without a floppy.

Enhanced apple II and it died

Today I upgraded the ][ with the retro innovations kit. Following ESD procedure. When I turned it on all I get is garbage and no drive activity.
I put the old chips back in and get the same thing. Nice way to start the weekend. Any ideas before it goes back in storage for another 20 years?

Apple /// keyboard upgrade problem

I've just upgraded the keyboard on my secondary Apple /// to the Apple ///+ keyboard. I have the keyboard and bezel and obtained the correct encoder ROMs from Vintage Micros.

The system starts to boot, but stops with a SYSTEM FAILURE = $01 message on any boot disk. According to Apple docs, this means "BRK instruction from within SOS", which is pretty useless.

Is there anything I need to do when upgrading the keyboard other than replace the encoder ROM?
