Where can I find Spectrum Internet Suite

Hi,

finally I got time to install my Uther Card and looked for the SIS. Unfortunately the one one Geoff Weiss page seems to be corrupt. The other link on MacGui also does not exist anymore.

Does anyone have a compiled version for me?

Thanks

Walter

VidHD Power Requirements

As the title says, what are the power requirements for the VidHD card? Is it designed to work with a stock IIgs power supply (and extra RAM and Microdrive Turbo), or is it something that should be/can be powered sepaately or used with an upgraded power supply?

Apple II+ Astec power supply case

Hi All,

Recently, I experienced a bit of a disaster:  A 9-foot high shelf gave out, and several heavy retrocomputers crashed to the floor, some of them hitting my workbench first.

I happened to have an Apple II on the bench for repairs.  The power supply (Astec AA11040B) was out and disassembled on the bench, and the case got smashed.  The supply itself is repaired and working.  Does anyone happen to have an Astec case in decent shape they may be able to part with?

Apple IIc displays B&W on monitor but color on TV but monitor displays color when connected to other devices.

Hello so I have an Apple IIc, Model No. A2S4000 & a Color Monitor IIC, Model No. A2M4043

For some reason when I connect the computer to the monitor it only displays Black & White. I connected the computer to several TV sets & they all display in color just fine. I then tried connecting the monitor to a Sega Genesis & the monitor & it displayed color just fine. The TV & Genesis I used were NTSC, the Apple IIc & monitor I assume are NTSC as well but I do not know for sure.

DOS.MASTER; Integer BASIC

Hi all,

I'm not sure you guys are familiar with DOS.Master, but it is a program by Glen E. Bradon that allows DOS3.3 sectors to exist on a ProDos formatted Disk. This allows you to launch DOS 3.3 from ProDos, with it the ability to run DOS 3.3 software.

I've always wanted to be able to run IntBasic from ProDos, so this seemed like a reasonable middle ground. Have this DOS3.3 partition on my ProDos drive. Enter from ProDos, load IntBasic, use it, return to ProDos when done.

RAMFACTOR problems

I have a deceased RamFactor I'd like to bring back to life.  I was lucky enough to have a loaner donor card come my way and after some chip pulling and gnashing of teeth it was discovered to have both a marginal eprom and a dead pal.  The eprom is not much of an issue, I'm managed to get a read out of it, and I have a copy of the one from the donor card.

Apricorn Super Serial Pro card - help?!

I bought one of those Apricorn Super Serial Pro cards.

I can't find ANY info on this card at all. I know it's a serial card of some kind for apple II, but I have no manual of any kind.

I'm mostly curious on how to connect a db9/db25 connector to it, I don't want to assume anything just looking at the card.

I've been digging for information for a year now and it's as if the card doesn't exist.

It's NOS, from ebay, bought it assuming I'd eventually find info, but just haven't found a damn thing.

Help me find the Apple IIe game?

Hi all,

I have been trying to remember a game I played a lot as a kid back in the early 90s but my memory is not serving well.

It was a graphical game, where you were kind of on an adventure. I remember trolls being in the game, and you had to perform tasks or quests such as:

- collecting block shapes in the back of a truck

- navigate a lake or sea where the wind direction was shown on the water

- match up animal footprints in a maze
