Apple IIe: list of capacitors

II bought my Apple IIe P.A.L.. made in Ireland - 820-0073-B, in the early 1980s.  Some years later, faced with the option of buying a Mac or an “IBM compatible”, I opted for the latter. Now I’d like to get the Apple working again.

Can anyone identify this monitor?

Edit: Found. It wasn't the one I had hoped .

Hey guys, I'm trying to find out the make and model of this monitor.

The only source I have for it is this original pinterest link, captioned "Príncipe TV": https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/311803974193223731

ALF MC16 clone

I have finally made a near 100% clone of the MC16. The card was used in the early version of the Alpha Syntauri before switching to the Mountain Computer Music System. 5 Cards can be used with the Alpha Syntauri software and 3 cards with the ALF software.

The card has some differences to the original but it has the same components and the same Layout.

Bugs in the current Layout:

- One connection from DAC3 to the opamp is missing, resulting in a missing voice. Solution: solder an airwire.

Apple Imagewriter I

Hi all,

I noticed that when I print with my ImageWriter(not a Imagewriter II for clarity), when it reaches the end character of a line it kind of trails off. Basically, I believe the paper starts moving up before the final character gets fully printed. Essentially the character ends up warped and partially on to the next line.

Has anyone seen this before, and do you have any suggestions? I can provide additional details if needed.

Serial Pro - ROM Binary

Hello,

For those of you who are familiar with the Serial Pro card from Applied Engineering, it is basically a SSC compatiable card with a real-time clock built in. This card has some ROM on board that looks to be an EPROM.

Does anyone know if this ROM has been dumped already? If not, I might be inclined to buy a reader/writer and do it myself.

Apple II+ flashing/intermittent display

Hello-

I'm a new member ,and new to the world of old Apples so please excuse my ignorance when it comes to any questions or comments I ask or make. :)

Being interested in old computers, I recently picked up a couple II+'s  from a surplus dealer to see if I could learn something new.

I dont have a apple monitor, so I connected it to an old monitor that has a composite input and it seems to function.

The problem I am experiencing is that the displayed output is intermittently turning on and off. Its almost is if there is a bad connection or something.

DuoDrive problem

Hey there,

I'm looking for some kind of a repair guide for a DuoDisk.  At this point it may be the controller or the drive itself.  Symptom at present is that Drive 1 is always selected regardless of what's chosen in dos, or copy proggy...

Thanks for your time

Best diagnostic software Apple IIe

Hi all.

I've had one of my Apple IIe motheboards burn out for some reason. I've moved all Enchanced chips, floppy controller, floppy drives and memory card to another Apple II, which is now enhanced. Its doing some weird shit. Whats a good Diagnotics disk image I can use to test all the hardware to see whats failing?

Thanks,

Rob

Formatting Disks

New to classic computer collecting. I recently got ahold of an Apple 2e and got a huge lot of 5.25 inch floppies off of ebay. Some of them are HD, which I know won't work, but quite a few of them are double density disks. I would like to use these for the computer, but I cannot seem to figure out how to format them. I put them in the drive and do the control+reset command, and nothing happens. They were previously used on a pc clone, so I know they are not already apple formatted. Any help would be appreciated.

Running ProDOS from DOS

Does anyone know if there is an executable that exists you can run from a DOS formatted disk that will load ProDOS?

There is a method to my madness ... I'm trying to run executables that assume a ProDOS operating system from (initially) within a DOS environment.

I already know that ProDOS clobbers DOS once loaded and that's OK.  I can give more detail to my project in time but if anyone knows

of an executable that exists that can do this, (load ProDOS over DOS)  I would surely appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.
