Apple II Joystick Repair or cleaning

I have 3 Apple II joysticks. Two of them are the standard joysticks made by Apple with the thing stick and two buttons. The other one is a CH joystick with a button on top of the stick and two more buttons at the base. The CH stick also has a 2 connectors one it, one to plug into an Apple II and the other plugs into a PC.

Anyway, each one of these sticks has a problem, mainly, mainly with the buttons. The buttons don't work every time you push them or you either have to push them real hard.

I haven't taken them apart yet to check them out and I thought I would seek out some advice first. So here goes my questions. Will taking them apart and cleaning them up do any good? Is there anything I can do on my own to get them going again? Or do I need to get some replacement parts? If I do need parts, what would I most likely need?

Thanks,
Jeffrey

Apple II Rev. 4 Motherboard question

Evening all (at least where I am)

I have received several Rev 4 motherboards inside II+ machines in the past few months. The other three I have (one went to Transwarp guy) had the 'Rev 4' under the slot and the 820-0001-04 under the CPU and a 1978 Date silkscreened on the PCB by the CPU and a motherboard Date of 794x and the Memory Select Blocks were soldered.

Looking for Image viewers for Apple IIgs (.gif, .pcx, etc)

I need a program for viewing gif files on the IIgs. PCX files and any other formats would be a plus. I found .viewgif for the Apple II and it works for for the Apple II machine. It does work on the IIgs computer, but it doesn't have extra support for the larger IIgs color palette and higher resolution. I've tried searching around but so far no hits. Thanks in advance or any help.

Apple ][c ADTPro transfer issue

Hey, all. I have an Apple IIc I'm trying to get some disk images for with ADTPro. I can get the Speedieboot to send over the client, but I can't pull off any images after that. Half the time it says "host timeout" and the other half the time I get it to start pulling off the client and it freezes after two blocks and I get the message "Image transfer aborted" on the host (An IBM A31 with a serial null modem cable, made to the specs on the ADTPro site for an Apple IIc null modem).

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

How to copy IIgs system disk

I just obtained a ROM3 IIgs with 2M of total RAM. Included were 2 3.5" drives and a 5.25" drive (I believe I will need a separate controller for the latter). The 3.5" drives are A9M0106s, as I believe were standard with the IIgs.

Included was a motley assortment of IIgs disks, labeled on the disk shell with Sharpie. Two system disks were included. I've been trying to duplicate them with no success.

I can see two ways to do this on the IIgs after initializing a blank diskette:
