80-Col / 64k ROM Card Memory Corruption

Morning, everyone! I've been lurking on these forums and elsewhere for a while taking in tips and tricks where I can to get my PAL Apple IIe up and running, but I've made an account as I've now run into a problem and I'd like a second opinion.

Apple ll Rev. 0 PCB Replica (Pinpoint Accurate) (New)

Hello everybody! I know I haven't posted in a while. Been working on countless projects. I just wanted to inform you all that I have now fixed/sorted out my eBay page. I decided to start producing A2 Rev. 0 PC Boards again. I posted a listing of the boards on my eBay page. Check it out sometme! For those that do not have eBay, I am selling the boards for $115, + $15 shipping to anyone in the US. Willing to ship Internationally. My circuit board is the only "pinpoint accurate" board to an original on the market today.

Design for a 3.3v IOU replacement

I am designing the 3.3v version of a replacement for the IOU. Once it's done and I know it works, I'd like to add it to my open source IOU/MMU as a 'reference implemenation'. However, I'm just a hobbyist hardware designer, and probably not a very good one at that.

I am posting my thoughts on the design, to satisfy the curiosity for some, and to get any comment for those with hardware design experience.

I will use the ICE5LP1K-SG48. It's cheap and very easy to find. It also have an internal oscillator, which I need to add a delay to /RAS.

How important are the IWM features for the Apple IIc ?

Hi Fans -

as you might know, I'm working on my Replica 2e project which aims to produce a substitute for all Apple II from the early ones to the Apple IIe and the Apple IIc without using any of Apple's proprietary custom ICs, like the MMU, IOU and  the IWM. The link to the project thread is here:

A2 PSU blew a fuse with huge POP need some help on wiring

I got an A2 Astec AA11404 PSU. Not the later  -B version

It was dead, so I did a total recap. In and several that I have done in the past that was all that was needed. But those were all -B units.

When I pluged this one in to test votages, the fuse made a relitivly large exposion !! it made 3/4" burn mark on the mettal case with a rectifier in the way!

Well, obviously somethig is wrong.

I looked more closely at the mains IN wiring. Looks like some one bypasted the 240/115 voltage selctor switch.

So I'm a little lost on how this should be wired correctly.

What To Do with Unwanted Apple II Series Computers?

I’m sure a number of you have similar concerns, so here goes.

I have a number of Apple II (Rev 2 and 3), and II+ (Rev 4, 7, and RFI) computers, some even with original boxes.  All work and have drives and multiple add-on cards.  I’m planning for the future where these will have to go.

Franklin ACE 100 keyboard

So after some minor cleaning and reseating chips, My Franklin ACE 100 (not 1000), is ALIVE!  Floppies were way out of speed, but that did not take long either.  Of course the foam and foil keyboard is totally dead and I will order a set of pads from TexElec to revive the keyboard.  There is an extra board extending down from the keyboard on the power supply sided (possibly an encoder board), otherwise the keyboard looks much like the ACE 1000 with the standard DIP-16 keyboard cable like on a ][+.  The ACE 100 from March of 1982 was mostly a mass produced prototype (2000 produced) and most o
