Halo online

Halo online doesnt work anymore! I just get a frozen screen and the last 5 secs of sound played constantly. I've tried reinstalling it, but it wont work. If anyone knows why this happens, please tell.

Why repair permissions if you were going to reinstall? I know you probably mean

Don't mind me, I'm just being a grouch, wishing for the days when I knew my OS backwards/forwards enough that I could say "Yeah, that files corrupt, trash it and restart".

Ignore what the guy above said, you can try repairing permissions, but reinstalling is a laughable option.

Do you have Halo 1.5 that came out last week? This has quite a long list of bug fixes. If you do have it, delete your halo prefs located in ~/library/preferences/Halo Preferences. (BTW: ~ before a directory means in that users home, and not the global library directory)

This should get you back going, if not, post if anything changes at all.

You could try to remove and then reinstall the app. Please note, I have no experience with Halo, so can anyone give tips on how to do this, or a stern warning not to?
